Printable summaries for your Mutterpass, your bag, your phone.
What they are
The long guides, made small enough to carry
At Birth & Mother, we believe good information should reach you before you need it, in a language that feels like your own. These printables are for international families finding their way through pregnancy and early parenthood in Germany, often navigating a new healthcare system, a new language, and a greater distance from home than they expected.
They bring the most important parts of the long guides together in one place: easy to save, print, and return to whenever you need a reminder, reassurance, or a practical next step. For the full picture, the Library remains the in-depth resource.
How to use them
A small piece of support, wherever you are
Keep them on your phone, print them for the fridge, or tuck them into your Mutterpass. Designed to travel with you from pregnancy and birth into the postpartum, they are there whenever you need a reminder, a practical next step, or a little reassurance.
Where they help
- In the hospital bag, when you cannot think clearly and want the facts in front of you.
- At a midwife or clinic appointment, when a question comes up and you would rather not rely on memory.
- For the person supporting you, so they can speak up on your behalf if the room is German-speaking and you are not.
- In the first forty days, taped to the fridge as a quiet reminder of what rest is allowed to look like.

The wider libraryopens with your care package
Beyond the launch gift, the collection keeps growing: tick-list checklists for before and after the birth, and printable summaries of each long guide. These belong to the care package our clients and Circle receive, so the whole library arrives with someone alongside you rather than all at once.
The full set opens with your care package or commitment to Birth & Mother. You can see how the care works in Doula Care, or, for the invitation-only Circle, say hello.

The idea behind them
A little ground to stand onso you are not starting from nothing
At Birth & Mother, we believe information is most valuable when it arrives before it is needed. Too often, families are left making sense of a new system, a new language, or an unexpected decision in the very moment it is happening.
They are not a substitute for your midwife or doctor. What they offer is the chance to take in what matters ahead of time, on your own terms, so that when the moment comes, you are reminding yourself rather than learning for the first time.
